Hero Packs

I play Runebound all the time with my friends and family, we love it. However it is difficult to get everyone else interested in playing the expansions, they seem to like the base board the best. The thing is we love adding new cards and characters into the game, but the only way to do this is to buy the big box expansions.

I think it would be great if FFG would put out "packs" that included new characters, similar to the class decks (which I bought 6 of and no one in my group wants to use) but instead each box contains a single Hero model and card(s). Releasing a new one every 3-6 or so months would provide a steady stream of new characters to play with and also be a good sales platform.

Hero packs would be a very welcome addition to the Runebound base game. :)

I know that the people I play with have asked numerous times about getting additional heros.

I know what you mean about the big box expansions. I also don't get a lot of use out of them. And it's because the core game is soooo much more diverse with so many more cards.
I have bought all the big box expansions and I would love to see FFG release deck expansions to bring the big boxes up the level of card of the base game.
