His episode of Mandalorian was the worst episode -- no doubt about it.

Whatno. He did episode 1 and 5. The first episode did have that rough patch that was learning to ride a space horse, but otherwise decent. My only complaint about episode 5 is that we went back to Mos Eisley. Tatooine is the most popular backwater, nowhere planet that exists.

Bryce Dallas Howard's episode was dull, and paled to the both the Seven Samurai and Magnificent Seven that it stole it's storyline from. Episode 6's prison heist had a decent story, but every performance was wooden. I know Bill Burr and Natalia Tena can act, but they didn't do that great of a job.

Taika's episodes were the best. The were excellently acted and shot if a bit slow on moving the plot forward.

It feels like the X-Mens of the Clones......

But the main thing I am curious about that is: Will it take place during the clone wars, or after order 66 ?

If it's after the order 66, I am all in !!! Maybe we can see Rex going with this group :)

The setting is supposed to be after Order 66. The Bad Batch is supposedly off being mercenaries after being cut loose by the Empire. I think it is going to be sort of Star Wars: The A-team. "If you've got a problem and no one else can help, maybe you can hire The Bad Batch." I'd expect appearances from Gregor, Wolffe, and Rex with the through arc of the series being what happens to the clones after being phased out by The Empire.

Neither here nor there, but I liked Rick Famuyiwa's episodes best.

So true. I think having a known space gangster probably skews this a bit. Maybe it's one of the more popular destinations in that region of space but at a galactic scale it's more like stopping off at a town that's just making do because a highway/train line cuts through it.
