Hi,

Dexter O'Seicky; Human, Merchant, ex Burgher, ex Bailiff. A showman with the gift of the gab. Has recently inherited his famillies circus, due to his father being mutated and executed by Milli - though he doesnt know it was Milli yet... Useless hero, stands behind armour and sheild wafting his sword around occasionally to ill effect while proper heroes do the killing stuff, then goes back to the pub and tells all the young ladies how he slew xxxxxx in such dashing fashion. Best known for Better Lucky than Good talent.

Cloffy Milkwort (Deceased); Halfling Thief. A very focussed and angry man. Nephew of an Altdorf based halfling crime lord, learning the business. Cat burgular and con-man. Cloffy had lost a large sum of fake gold and got very very angry. This manifested in bouts of pyromania. Died just yards from his dodgey cash when shot by a blunderbuss. Best known for owning locks and murdering people in their sleep.

Millicent "Milli" Mundy; Human Assassin, ex Bounty Hunter. Milli (aka, the Raptor!) a lady of late forties married to a mercenary captain missing in action on the Kislev borders, mother to a son serving military duty on the coast of Nordland, left alone in Altdorf developed a large gambling problem. She now owes so much to a local crime lord he is filing to have her estate sold and proceeds returned to him in liue of unpaid debts. This has given Milli a somewhat ruthless streak as she returns to the proffession she plied as a youth. Best known for ignoring any plot lead if an opportunity to exploit/blackmail/rob/threaten anyone known to have some cash presents itself.

Tobias Reikhauss; Human Disciple, ex Initiate. Tobias was a lazy man who wanted an easy life. So when he saw the cult of sigmar with their wealth, three square meals, no manual labour and accessible medical perks with a competitive retirement plan he signed himself up right away. Since then Sigmar has sent him on test after test, which is good for the party as Tobias is far and away the only one remotely fitting the "hero" mould, sadly geographical issues mean the player only gets to play for every other session. Best known for turning up, driving the hapless fools forwards, casually delivering a huge amount of damage to bad guys, and leaving.

Constanza; Human Disciple, ex Initiate. Born in Estallia, this young lady was taught as a Diestro in her homeland before joining the cult of Myrmidia. Her mother superior had a holy vision and sent Constanza to altdorf to fulfill a prophecy. A recent addition to the group she has been only recently tested, and came through... just. Now under the "motherly wing" of the notorious Mrs Mundy. Best known for ignoring Dexters improper suggestions.

Because I always hated 'melting pot' or poorly assembled groups when the previous party was nearly destroyed at the end of The edge of the night adventure,

One character died and 2 were retired 'cause the mutations they got were too severe.

The surviving character was a Flagellant so I asked my grou to create a THEMATIC party.

Now the group is compose of the following characters:

* prophet of doom (used to be a zelot)

* priest of Sigmar (started as a zelot before switching to initiate)

* witch hunter captain (used to be a zelot)

* wizard of the Light college (used to be a Monk a career I created).

Try to imagine how much they are enjoying the adventure: The Witch's Song.

Though it's been a while since we've played, the previous group I ran consisted of:

Orzad, son of Urgrim: Trollslayer who wields a two-handed hammer

Ysharra: High Elf Envoy

Grundi: Dwarf Ratcatcher a few eggs short of a dozen and his trusty dog Wuffles

Willhelm: Human Grey Order Apprentice

Human Pit Fighter -> Swordmaster

Dwarf Ironbreaker -> Mercenary

Elf Hunter -> Assassin

Here's my group:

  • Astares - Human Zealot (ex-Witch Hunter Captain, ex-Witch Hunter, ex-Town Warden) (He is still one of the Witch Hunters, but the Zealot career represent him becoming more fanatical)
  • Exanthematicus - High Elf Mercenary (ex-Assassin, ex-Thief)
  • Emilia - Human Barber-Surgeon (ex-Burgher)
  • Kurtz - Human Amethyst Wizard Acolyte (ex-Amethyst Wizard Apprentice)
  • Boris - Human Initiate of Morr
  • Rickard - Human Dilettante

Astares the Witch Hunter is a madman thinking that he is the best there is (he's got the Delusions of Grandeur insanity). Generally an unpleasant character that only rarely pays his henchmen and most often than not steals their pay when they get a reward for a mission. He is often rude to people he meets and has no social skills to speak of. On the other hand, he is an unmatched fighter preferring to wield two-handed weapons like his old two-handed sword or his newly found two-handed Sigmarite Hammer, and using a pistol as a side-arm. A side-arm that he has used far too many times to execute his own henchmen for incompetence or heresy (though his preferred way is to cut them down with a two-handed sword).

Exanthematicus the Elf may take shady jobs but is kind-hearted and merciful, not to mention loyal to his employers. He is the conscience of the group, doing his best to calm the situation down whenever Astares heats the situation up. Having grown up in Marienburg's Elf Quarter makes him a little less elegant than other High Elves, but all the more adventurous.

Emilia left her life as a daughter to a burgher to seek adventure in big wide world. Upon meeting the group she asked to join. Astares saw little use of her but the others convinced him to let her come with them. So far she has not yet proven herself, but despite the insecurity she tries to hide, she is studying as much as she can about medicine and the healing arts so that she can prove that she a valuable member of the group.

Kurtz the Death Wizard is a mysterious person that joined the group when they discovered that they had a common goal in finding the source of a corrupted river. Not much is known about him other than he a Wizard Acolyte of the Amethyst Order. He is also a little more outgoing than you would expect a wizard from the Amethyst Order to be, and likes to make fun of Rickard whenever he can.

Boris the Initiate is a follower of Morr that has joined to group to help them deal with a haunted house outside of Ubersreik. The man looks almost looks like a skeleton because of his skinny figure. This is not helped by the fact that he is taller than all others in the group. He has also not proven his ability as a priest yet as became clear when he had much difficulty in summoning and communicating with the ghost in the haunted house. Boris is also a mysterious character with past he has yet to share with the others.

Rickard von Toterlane is a young dilettante that thought that the best way to prove his bravery and one day join a Knightly Order was to join a group of adventurers. After looking for one such group long and hard he came across Astares rag-tag group. Not impressed by their unrefined behaviour and common origins, he figured that he couldn't be too picky and so he decided to join. Always the one to look down on other people, Astares thought that a foppish son-of-a-noble would only cause trouble (and get on his nerves as he almost cannot stand nobles). However, he eventually let him join against his better judgement. Only time will tell if Rickard will prove useful to the group...
