By keltheos, in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

• Human Zealot (Witch Hunter wannabe)
• Human Initiate of Sigmar
• Human Scout

A “Servants of Justice” group too radical and lawful in the twisted way.
I try some tricks to bring them to the dark side, but until now without success.

Siglinde von Bromen - Human Female initiate of Morr. Able to strike fear in most foes, and willing to fight dirty when up against prissy traders

Kharn Kurnasson - Dwarf Male slayer. His background story is virtually identical to the one from A day Late (with Siglinde taking the place of his protegee), who's recently learned to go aggressive but not all-out :) )

Ilthoun Myranthir - High Elf Male Sword master. Frail but able, defensive fighter, who usually takes the brunt.

Boomer - Human Male Ratcatcher with his little dog Sharky. Exceptionally tough & accurate marksman, short on cash or pretty much anything except a dagger & crossbow.

Pick 3, choose one.

I like to keep combat challenging, which resulted currently in having our Slayer with a mangled eye (it delights him to wear an eyepatch, I wonder if he's ever going to get it treated), and our Sword Master with a Deep Flesh Wound (severity 5).
At least they made it into the Grunewald Lodge alive ;)

- Tallon the Human Watchman

- Kadrim the Dwarf Hunter

- Faelwen the Wood Elf Waywatcher

The party is Oathbound. The dwarf and the elf are oathbound to help the human fight off a large warband of Orcs that threatens the east Reikland. The reason is that his ancestor was a war-hero who saved both the kin of the dwarf and the wood elf from a Goblin invasion ( with the help of his band of warriors, but still gui%C3%B1o.gif ). The Orcs are still far away but they seem to be headed for Reikland. The dwarfs and the wood elves have sent Kadrim and Faelwen respectively to aid the descendant of their saviour.

Human Bounty Hunter

Human Initiate of Sigmar

Human Wizard's apprentice Bright Order

New character for the fourth player (he made a Iron breaker first, but I treat that career as an advanced one, after game test).

My group as stands:

Human Bounty Hunter

Human Wizards Apprentice Celestial (This character is thinking of changing careers.)

Human Gambler

Wood Elf Waywatcher

We Created Characters last night, (eyes roll), We have a pretty heavy combat group,

A Human Zelot

A Wood Elf Waywatcher

A High Elf Soldier

A Dwarf troll slayer.

we still have one player to make a character

Our all star cast...I had the players choose their own careers or randomly (I personally like random because it forces people to play different characters than they usually play). I allow no elves. As a WFRP purist (of sorts) I find elves nearly impossible to have in a group...especially with Dwarves, but hey that's my thing.

As a long time gamer and player of all WFRP editions I find I love this system. Though not perfect it has helped to bring out the best in my players. We have had some really wonderful game nights....my guys are hooked!

Rolf Zaeschmar: Human Agent-soon to be Bounty Hunter

Crixus Algarin: Dwarf Troll-Slayer-soon to be Giant Slayer or Dead :)

Aemilious Burkhard: Human Zealot -soon to be Initiate of Sigmar

Thorsten Udermann: Human Dilettante -soon to be ? Such a typical Dilettante

Vladimir Wolfgardt: human Bright Wizard Apprentice- soon to be Acolyte

Please check out the Gamemaster Forum and read the exploits of these intrepid band of adventurers !!!!

We used the standard random generation ("choose race, take the first 3 that fit your race, choose 1").

Dwarf Agent (mine) - Very lucky that I decided to train Weapon Skill for my Dwarf bonus, since we see a lot of combat. I'm considering going into Bounty Hunter -> Pit Fighter -> Ironbreaker.

Human Thug - Another melee-centric guy. He might be going towards Zealot to get into Witch Hunter.

Human Thief - The Thug's brother, tends to prefer ranged combat. Might go towards Scout.

It's kind of painful playing with no divine or arcane support.

Our party card is Gang of Thugs.

The party I GM is finding this as well. But without the material being out for them it is hard to want to go those routes.

1. Ironbreaker

2. Bright Wizard

3. Wood elf bowman/thief/

1. A human Mercenary

2. A high elf Thief

3. A human Agent

1 Trollslayer, 1 Wizards Apprentice, 1 Roadwarden, 1 Rat Catcher (because of the dog...).

  • Norscan Berserker (Yes thats me, the conan dude)
  • Reikland Flagelant (no he does not like the company of a norscan "HERETIC") >D
  • Woodelf scout

Doh double post. Slow internet ftl

Ah, now that my group has finished a modified version of A Day Late I can finally add something to this list too! happy.gif

The party is all human. The players chose freely.

  • Barber-Surgeon, male, called Bartholomäus Hock (female player, comfortable starting wealth)
  • Pit Fighter, male, calls himself Shifu – but we don’t know yet what his given name is… (male player, poor)
  • Coachman, male, called Zacharias (female player, comfortable)
  • Wizard Apprentice, female, Gold college, called Aurelia Pecunia (male player, affluent – of course!)
  • Scout, male, called Grindel Grünwald (female player, poor)

Party sheet so far is Brash Young Fools, and they act like such gran_risa.gif

The party is a bit mediocre on the social side (no one with fellowship higher than 3, the Barber-Surgeon so far has gone more for grumpy butcheriness than the chatty barber-style…)

The Pit Fighter and the Coachman are old friends who have both quit their current jobs (the Coachman has been blackmailed and put on leave, the A Day Late coach was his last trip). The Barber-Surgeon is on a dead man’s quest and was waiting for the package in the coach.

The Alchemist Apprentice has to collect samples from springs in the Oberslecht and the college has sent the scout with her, as protection. The scout isn’t being paid for the job, because he fell ill before he could join an expedition of the Gold College for which he was contracted. The fine print in the contract said that if he does not attend, he will have to do a similar job – for free… Do not mess with the colleges, especially if you can’t read!

I am quite happy that one of my players choose a Wizard Apprentice. Good to have someone who can read and write. I guess having someone with Magical Sight will also be useful and it will allow for some nice story telling…

Draw 3 Cards keep one - choose race then

  • Hannuel - human celestial Wizard
  • Theodor Mahlstein - Human Thug (Mahlstein = Grindstone)
  • Ferdiand FIcht - Human Roadwarden (FIcht- old german for fencing)
  • Dorgur - Dwarfen - Coachdwarf
  • Morgen - Dwarfen Ratcatcher

Group Oathbound- they returned to their home hamlet Havendorf for the annul Knödelfest and a Nurgle Cult killed all but hem, now they are on a misson of vengence. BILD0334.JPG

The party consists only of humans. The players chose their careers. Can't remember their surnames angel.gif

1. Carl - Thief

2. Eric - Priest of Sigmar

3. Felix - Amethyst Wizard

We just started a Campaign we would want to keep running for a long time.
We're 3 Players and Me (the GM)

- Norscan Pit Fighter
- Human Zealot (Maybe Commoner)
- Human Apretice Wizard

We just spottet some major flaws on the character progression part and decided to take another approach to the whole thing :P

I was hoping to wait till I had a bit more meat to the post, but here's out party comp.

Our career's (after some debate) were freely picked with the caveat that we were all Human Reiklanders.

Party sheet: Brash young Fools

Initiate (priest of Sigmar). High strength, toughness and willpower

Apprentice Wizard (Amber order). Spends most of her time in wolf form. Extraordinary scout, and vicious in combat.

Gambler. Noble who's lost his title and land. Highly social with a strong agility and some roguish qualities.

Roadwarden. Son of a Witch, currently raised and employed by a local noble. Takes his job seriously. Decent and scouting and combat, tends to lead towards leadership. (ultimately shooting for Witch Hunter).

Our party of Intrepid explorers:

- Human soldier, ex gunnery sergeant with a penchant for pistols (pity both his pistols broke before he started adventuring) <- me.

- Dwarf Iron breaker, first character of the player was a Troll slayer who got killed, not a very surprising choice of new character career...

- Human bright wizard apprentice

We're great in combat, okish in social situations (easier without the slayer at least), okish in knowledge/investigation.

Human Agitator - A youngster who's eager to see the world.

Human Agent - He has a mission, a mission to report all evil doings to his master. And boy... he sees evil stuff everywhere he goes!!!

Human (female) Initiate of Shallya - New char, needs to find his place I think. Think he's gonna be shocked to find that playing a priest is hard happy.gif

Human Grey Wizard - Just discovered his farther was a hedge wizard, and his teacher was one of the judges condemming his farther to burning on the stake... Gonna play a lot to his farthers lust for easy power, lets see if he can avoid the temptation...

Human Thug - hehe, **** he's a thug, with capital T. When he wrote his character, he put in the famous line "I made him an offer he couldn't refuse". His comment when his best friend died in first session was: "I take his pouch, and leave him 1 copper for the ferryman", the agent says: "I think you're surposed to leave 2 coppers". He says: "Well that's not really my problem, now is it?" Conversation died there, and the agent put the thug on his loooong list of likely chaos worshippers.

I don't allow dwarves without a really good explanation (read: That I'm 100% certain they can roleplay it), and don't allow elves at all...

The party is still trying to find their place, and can't agree on a party sheet, so they're not getting fortune refills for now... they don't mind it, as they prefer the disagreement for now happy.gif
