just to be sure - is anomaly card discarded after usage or returned to the bottom of anomaly deck to circulalete?

I went through rulebook and reference book several times but no answer found.

We played the game in circulation mode but who knows ?

426.11 After you finish reading the encounter, place that card on the bottom of the deck it was drawn from, unless it is an event card.

It is still an encounter card that is drawn from the anomaly deck.
