Repeatable abilities?

Got a couple of questions for you guys...

First Scenario:

I have

-Naggaroth Spearmen

Battlefield. Action: Spend X resources to have this unit deal +X damage until the end of the turn. X is the number of development cards in this zone.

- 1 development

-A sea of resources

After I declare the spearmen as attackers, during the following action window can I boost the spearmen until I run out of resources?

Second Scenario:

-My opponent attacks my battlefield with 10 hammers.

-I defend with Disciple of Khaine

Action: Spend 2 resources to redirect one combat damage just assigned to this unit to another target unit.

-I have a sea of resources

Durning damage allocation, I use the Disciple's ability as many times as possible.

Does the Disciple get only three damage allocated to him which is then reflected, or does the effect go off as it's being allocated, forcing the opponent to spend all his standing strength on the disciple?

Thanks for your help!

You have to assign damage before you can use the disciples ability. You have to assign enough damage to kill the disciple of khaine first before any actions can take place so the disciple will take only enough dmg to kill it

If you're worried about her surviving, you can overassign if you want.

No possible way to do that afaik. In combat, your opponent assigns the damage and not you. And for other things like indirect damage or spells, the damage is instantly applied after assigning so there's no space for you to take an action.

Yes, but my point was that if you, as attacker, are worried about the Disciple as defender surviving because of her ability, you can overassign dmg to her so that opponent won't have enough resources to redirect everything.

You couldn't use her ability against non-combat damage anyways, since it states combat damage.
