Is it possible to play star war legion on a large space like 10 x 10 than a 6x4 area with more troops than the official amount, or would this not work

How exactly are you going to reach to the middle of this 10x10ft area?

Crane lift?
It would be played on the floor, or maybe not a 10x10 area just a larger area than 6x4
How much more than 1600 points do you want to go?
I am new to the game(only got the starter set he he) but I like do large scale battles so lets say 2000 points
Well, the game is expressly designed for either 800 or `1600 point games. Obviously you aren't beholden to that, but above 1600 points the command cards will get real wonky.
I've seen a lot of model train set ups with trap doors in the middle. He could sneek under to move his squad and back. Or you could magnetize everything and play on a wall or ceiling.
Wait, whats the surprise here? I've played on a 72 foot board for 40k apocalypse. The table size logistics arent what I would be worried about.
You may have to alter some structural elements of the game. For example, commands tend to revolve around an army being within a certain proximity of a commander. You might consider building two different 800 point lists per player and playing one command card per army to increase order saturation. Otherwise I dont see why you couldn't do it. Just be ready to have infantry having to spend a lot of time running through empty areas.
Ya, I multiple commanders could and just use more command cards, or have different task forces and have a commander for, each task force with a set of command cards
By the way thanks, for, the feedback and information and help
I highly recommend to not use a square play area and put the armies away from each other range 5 tops. Otherwise you'd be spending hours just moving into fireing range. And talking about time, plan a lot of it. We tried playing 1600 Points 2v2 games twice and endet them both after 3-4 hours and not even 2 rounds played. Not my kinda game ;).
Also. If all you have is the starter kit I recommend playing more before you worry about it.
Thanks for the information some of my family had a lot,of legion stuff so much have to try a big game with them
Look there are the official rules but there's nothing stopping you from have a bigger board, more points and more rounds. But I wouldn't make the depth 10 ft. With deployment that would just make the first few turns everyone moving forward before you engage. 10ft x 4ft or 6ft would cut that out and lead to quicker action.
They had a Big Board in Dr Strangelove. You may look to that for inspiration
Ok have to check it,out
This idea sounds cool but I agree with @arnoldrew that reaching the middle of the table would be difficult.
I can imagine it as a recreation of the Battle of Geonosis with 100+ minis per side and multiple AATs and Sabre Tanks!
The battle would take forever but it would be awesome!

I've actually done this! The feedback I can give is this: it's disgustingly good. Dropping two 1-pips and sweeping in on two flanks can be absolutely devastating. If you play droids,(which I did) this is incredibly powerful.
