I was thinking about trying Insidious either with ET or Hyper space assault. Flank then have the additional threat from behind if it survives.

Unlike Redemption, I have actually seen Insidious on the table.

I've used Insidious a couple of times. Mostly it does nothing except keep someone from picking your Hyperspace Assault. But once I got behind an Assault Frigate and it singlehandedly took it down.

That makes perfect sense with Hyperspace Assault. Would any of the rift objectives "help"?

Yeah it was an Assault Fig. But that is still pretty powerful!

Insidious is there for the Hyperspace Assault and the threat of not letting it get behind you. It's more of a strategy-defining card than an actual ship booster.
