Kangaphant (Untamed Creature) reads: Each creature gains, "REAP: Destroy this creature."
I'm assuming that should read "Each OTHER creature, no?" Or would that make it too OP?

While
Kangaphant
is in play, every creature gains the additional reap ability
“
Reap:
Destroy this creature.”
So for example, say Kangaphant and
Witch of the Eye
are in play. When a player `chooses to reap with Witch of the Eye there are now two
Reap:
abilities to resolve: one granted by Witch of the Eye (
Reap:
Return a card from your discard pile to your hand.) and one granted by Kangaphant.
The
active player
determines the order in which the abilities are resolved.

Never assume anything about the game. That is exactly how he is supposed to be.
At least the obvious strategy is to have Kangaphant out to limit your opponent's reaping, then when it comes to your turn, reap with kangaphant first and nuke him so nobody else on your side gets sac'd.
Though you can have a lot of fun with a kangaphant. Like having harbinger of doom reap.
