I'll cash in my two 10s, two 9s, and two Jacks for 12 coins.
Interestingly I also had a "straight" of three, but the coins would've amounted to the same amount regardless of how I did it.

Edited by Bertie WoosterI'll use my agent to kill @LTD's Hero at Chibok. YOLO
Edited by Bertie WoosterMan, way to take things personally!
I'll use my agent to protect my Hero.
I'll trade 3 kings for 9, two 8s for 4, two 6s for 4, and two spades for another 4. 21 coins.
Plus 3 cities, 1 village = 7 coins.
I'll trade my 2 spades, 2 sevens, and my jack and 2 of diamonds for a total of 12, my 4-6 of diamonds for 9, for a total of 21, and will keep my queen in my hand again.
Suits are only worth 2 coins per card - so six coins, not nine.

Cards of the same suit in a straight of at least three can be traded for three coins each (So the 7, 8, 9 of Clubs are worth 9 coins. King, Ace, 2, 3 can be traded for 12 coins).
4, 5, 6. 9 coins.
Edited by Bertie WoosterI thought I cut that bit...
My apologies. You guys know better than me what is written.

Are you sure?
9,10,J of clubs = 9 coins
2,9,10 spades = 6 coins
15 total?

Oh, you're right. I'll do it that way instead.
(This game is making me miss poker, which I haven't played since November...)
(the first step is admitting you have a problem)
I'll use my agent to target @LTD's Hero at Vacled.
Edited by GhostofNobodyInParticularSo I gain 15 coins from the cards and 3 coins from my city and village. And I still have a Jack of Hearts.
Ok, my orders are ready.
Let’s go Spring!
I've got messages from Bertie and GNIPs, so I presume those are orders. Here are mine!
Vacled to Ikom (2 coins)
Chibok to Katsina (2 coins)
Ygep to Obubra (1 coin)
Treasury= 53 -5 = 48
Bertie Wooster
Nganzai: 4 (Ygep -2 coins)
Jere: 1 (Nganazai - 1 coin)
Yala: 3 (Katsina - 2 coins) {Battle at Katsina}
Treasury = 28 - 5 =23
The units at Bakassi and Mafa move to Hawul, (2coins)
the unit at Hawul forages,
the unit at Etung moves to Agatu. (1 coin)
The Hero, 2 artillery, 3 cavalry, and 12 infantry from Agatu march to Vacled (3 coins)
Treasury = 29 - 6 = 23

Battles in Katsina -
House Denn Grylls have 10 infantry, 3 cavalry, Hero. (I'll also use my MDL+1 just because). (13 units)
League of Frigthened Men have 6 infantry, 3 cavalry, Hero. (I assume Bertie uses his MDL+1 just because). (9 units)
The League counts as defender, as they have higher MDL.
League gets two rerolls (Hero, MDL)
Denn Grylls gets one reroll (Hero)
(I'll start rolling in the discord - but I won't be in there all day)
In Katsina, the Heroic army of Denn Grylls fights back the League of Frightened Men, inflicting 4 infantry casualties and taking 3.
Summer is upon us!
14 units are available for recruitment - 4 artillery, 2 cavalry, and 9 infantry.
Please send me your bids!

(let me know if there are any map issues)

There are. I didn't move everything from Agatu to Vacled. Just the Hero, 2 artillery, 3 cavalry, and 12 infantry. There should still be 4 infantry and 2 artillery in Agatu in addition to the 1 unit that moved from Etung.

I don't think it's possible to split an army... either it moves along routes 1-4, or defends, or forages.

I hope that isn't true. Aside from this particular situation it means armies can't pass through each other. If you have a garrison that holds a city, and you have reinforcements passing through to the front, you would end up taking the garrison with you. Armies become amorphous blobs that stick together. The amount of money wasted shifting units back and forth so that they don't run into each other would be absurd, and there are occasions where it would be unavoidable even so.
Yes, you can split armies.
Sorry GNIPs, I made a mistake.
Did the forces remaining in Agatu forage? I assume so.
@Bertie Wooster we await your bid.

Yep.
