No battles in the Spring.

Summer: 19 units available for recruitment. 4 Artillery, 2 Cavalry, 13 Infantry.

Ok - I bid 0.

Bertie bid 11.

GNIPs bid 22.

I prefer artillery, infantry, cavalry.

I'll do my usual ACI.

So:

  1. I chose 1 Artillery, 1 Cavalry
  2. Bertie chooses 1 Artillery
  3. I chose 1 Artillery, 1 Cavalry
  4. Bertie chooses 1 Artillery
  5. I chose 2 Infantry
  6. Bertie chooses 1 Infantry
  7. I chose 2 Infantry
  8. Bertie chooses 1 Infantry
  9. I chose 2 Infantry
  10. Bertie chooses 1 Infantry
  11. I chose 2 Infantry
  12. Bertie chooses 1 Infantry
  13. I chose 1 Infantry

Leaving me with 2 Artillery, 2 Cavalry, and 9 Infantry, and @Bertie Wooster with 2 Artillery and 4 Infantry.

Right?

Sounds good.

Orders in, @Bertie Wooster

My army will defend.

League: Move from Jere to Yala. Everything else will forage.

Greedy Nobles:

The army at Damboa marches to Katsina. 10 infantry and 2 Cavalry at Etung march to Logo. The units at Logo march to Damboa, the units at Agatu march to Etung. Everything else forages.

So, I think no battles?

I will update the map in a few hours.

We have 15 improvements for Autumn...

Militia, Militia, Militia, Hero, Agent, MDL, MDL, Culture, Village, Village, Village, Village, Village, Village, City.

Bids and Orders, please.

I bid 2, and my army will defend.

Greedy Nobles: bid 12.

Orders:

The army in Katsina attacks Shani. Units in Logo go to Damboa. Everything else forages.

Bertie Wooster

Bid 6. Move Chibok to Shani, all else forages.

I use my agent to kill the Hero attacking Shani.

If GNIPs uses his agent to defend, I'll use my other Agent to kill the Hero attacking Shani.

My preference is Agent, Hero, MDL, then all else.

GNIPs gets to pick 6, then Bertie picks 3, then I pick 1.

I'll use my agent, if only to have you use up yours.

OK. I'll Choose Hero, Agent, Militia, Village, City, MDL.

That leaves: Militia, Militia, MDL, MDL, Culture, Village, Village, Village, Village, Village

My preferences after this are Militia, Village, MDL, Culture.

Militia, Village, MDL, Culture.

Ok. So:

  1. You take Militia, Village, MDL,
  2. LTD takes MDL
  3. I take Militia, Village, Culture,
  4. You take a Village,
  5. LTD takes a Village,
  6. I take a Village

At the end of which, I have 2 Militia, 1 Hero, 1 Agent, 3 Villages, 1 City, 2 Culture and 1 MDL, @Bertie Wooster has 1 Militia, 2 Villages, 1 MDL, and @LTD has 1 MDL and 1 Village.

Right?

Yes, sounds good.

Rules say: "Once all players have placed orders, they are revealed, and armies move simultaneously. If more than two armies of different non-allied sides are in the same province, the two largest forces remain and fight a battle. All other forces must return to their original location. If forces are tied for size, highest Military Doctrine Level remains – if still tied, higher culture remains."

So there is only one battle in Shani, and it is between Denn Grylls and the Greedy Nobles.

Denn Grylls gets 3 rerolls - Hero, Defend, and MDL.

Greedy Nobles get 1 reroll - cavalry superiority.

Confession time: I meant to kill GNIPs Hero, not Berties, since I did not notice that Bertie was also attacking Shani until I did up the map properly this morning. My apologies for any confusion caused.

Okay.

So my army just stays in Chibok for now?

I assume spending my 2 MDL+1s doesn't have any effect?

No - I will still have higher quality troops.
