Generic Jedi would be interesting. I wonder if they'll do that as a SF Melee unit or if they'll include different named characters like Kit Fisto or Plo Koon like they are doing with Fives and Echo.
I think generic Jedi are unlikely (not that FFG cares what I think). Clones are much more generic and better suited to the 50 point generic Commander identity, and I can't imagine a "generic Jedi" being significantly cheaper than Obi-wan or Luke.
The challenge with trying to put many named Jedi into a single kit is that many require more than just a head swap, which is all they are really doing for the named characters in the Inferno, ARC, and Clan Wren boxes.
For now at least, third party sculpts to be used as alternates for Anakin, Obi-wan, or any future Jedi characters are probably the best way of including other Jedi FFG doesn't put in the game. Heck, they still haven't added Lando. GAR may not even get a "special forces melee" squad. But, nothing is written in stone, and FFG/Disney is free to release what they want.
