New Massive Spellbook on Foundry - Timmorran's Tome

By IamGazrok, in Realms of Terrinoth

This massive tome (a lost spellbook of none other than Timmorran himself!) features over 330 new spell customizations for the Terrinoth setting!
These new spell customizations include spells for familiar magic skills, but also the Runes and Verse magic skills unique to Terrinoth, as well as new customizations for the Psychic magic skill introduced by Scott Zumwalt in his Zynnythryx’s Guide to Magic (ZGtM)! A new spell action (Enchant) is also introduced along with spells under each of the Magic Actions and skills mentioned in the Core Rulebook (CRB), the Expanded Player’s Guide (EPG), Realms of Terrinoth (RoT), and the aforementioned tome by Scott!
Many spells are adapted to Genesys from Descent expansions such as Lost Legends, Shadows of Nerekhall, Chains that Rust, The Trollfens, and more!
In addition, a spell listing by magic skills is a handy reference which shows which spells can be cast grouped by magic skill (and includes listing the spell customizations detailed in ZGtM).
A spell index is also included listing all of these spell customizations alphabetically along with those in ZGtM (with Scott’s permission, though this should not be seen as an endorsement), and includes page numbers for easier reference and quick location of each spell’s details!
For the Transform spell type, a complete listing of natural animals and their stats from various books, as well as reference page numbers, helps casters easily have information for these forms!
Finally, some optional new mechanics are introduced including new Additional Effects by spell type, and a spell level system familiar to players of other RPGs (and as a way to both limit casters and reflect their growth in skill). This may help players who are not as comfortable with the free-form magic of Genesys as well as save time with already created customizations. In addition, cantrips (easy to cast) spells are also introduced. Using or not using any of these optional mechanics in no way affects the spell characteristics given, so any of these mechanics are completely optional!
