What is it lacking that would tournament data invalid?
Apparently you're not reading what people are saying. It lacks realness. The video game isn't the same as the tabletop game. Were you to go to any tournament, you'd not find players who know every nook and cranny of the map because they have played on it numerous times. Real tables have variety, and the maps will differ from table to table, and game to game (people nudge terrain and it stays nudged). TTS is pinpoint precision in everything, and that isn't real. You cannot get perfect range bands for ranges in real life in 360 degree circles. You'd have to measure each band individually to ensure accuracy and that takes time. Can you do that? Sure but in a tournament time is of the essence.
