Tired of
winning
trying to win all the time with boring dumb Meta lists? Let's talk instead about what you put down on the table to have a good time! Maybe it's not even something you put down on the table, but are always happy to see across from you because you know it means a fun game. Maybe it's a game mode that you like to play more than the standard 400/134 tournament games.
I'll start with my personal favorite objective - Blockade Run. I LOVE Blockade Run, because of how much it dramatically changes the game, between the rotation of the deployment areas, to the actual objective gameplay. As 1st Player, I've taken that objective in high level tournaments purely because "we're going to have the most fun out of any table here", and when it first came out it it was the very first objective included into my lists. It's just a good time.
I'm not sure you could say there's really a META for Rebellion in the Rim per se, but I've been having the most fun running a Medium + Small as my starter fleet, where most people seem to be going LARGE TANK, but with that being said it's only really fun for the first few games, and then it kinda loses the luster as every game turns into this chess match where you're trying to keep your ships alive while plotting exactly how you're going to score enough points to get the win.
