Back in December, we made the difficult announcement that the Universal Fighting System (UFS), a collectible card game, would be discontinued. Today, we’re delighted to announce that this exciting card game will live on at Jasco Games, a Texas-based company!

Jasco now owns the rights to the core UFS mechanics and hold a license for the characters of ShadoWar. Additionally, Jasco has acquired FFG’s remaining stock of UFS cards. Jason Hawronsky, Owner and President of Jasco Games, had this to say:

The first time I played the Universal Fighting System CCG I fell in love. I spent years promoting the game, setting up regional events, the Pro Tour Circuit, and playing myself at GenCon in the World Tournament going 3-2-2 and playing some of the greatest people I've ever met. I am very happy to say that UFS is back and I can put my heart and soul into bringing this great game to players all over the world! I hope that this announcement is as exciting to you as it is to me, as I cannot begin to describe how eager I am to share with you my passion and ideas for the future of UFS.
