Sorgan Village

By Thrindal, in Terrain Building

I have not posted this on the forums yet. I have designed Sorgan Village terrain from Mandalorian S1Ep4.

If you include the unpainted buildings I think I have enough buildings now but I need to double the number of pools and more than double the scatter terrain. Hoping to have this all done well before the next time we have a store event...

Looks GREAT. I love this table, but I got to say, my eyes keep getting drawn to those card template things on either edge. I really like those things, and would love to learn more about them.

The Mat and the "Sidebars" came from the Fifth Trooper. They really are very nice although with the shutdown I have yet to get to use them in a game.

Thanks! I am a small business owner that deals in STEM Enrichment programs so I have been totally shut down since March and my entire Summer Camp schedule has been cancelled. I have nothing but time, other than the Honey Do list that gets longer and more extravagant by the day. Fortunately I have a 3D Printer and some Filament or I would be going crazy. I self taught myself how to design these buildings since March and being this close to having a complete table is satisfying.

If I am lucky I might get it done by next week, at least this general setup. I have another much more asymmetric setup in mind with pools in the middle, a smaller village on one side and a Forest on the other side so maybe once this version is done I may see about doing some trees to have a second option.

Perhaps you can please help me with my vintage toy collecting custom project. I wanna make this, in 1/3 orginal size. Sans figure pegs, and the action lever doesn't have to work. I can even be paved over with rocky textures. For the unfamiliar, it's an old 3.75" playset piece which Kenner recycled at least three times. I want to use it to make custom displays for much smaller toys. I'm thinking I can get 3D prints of a shrunk down version and then make my own cardstock backdrops for assorted Star Wars planets. The rocky base could be printed (or painted) in tan and white for Tatooine and Hoth, as Kenner did, but it could also be done in a rich red-brown and given an Endor backdrop, a muddy green and given a Dagobah backdrop, etc.
