How many Vital Assets does one need?

By Mesrob, in Star Wars: Legion

@buckero0 the cards in the officers packs aren't Battle Cards though they are faction specific Command Cards.

Priority Supplies is the better comparison, which is $10 less than Vital Assets. Prices for comparible soft plastic and hard plastic unit kits (say Phase 1 troopers vs Phase 2 troopers) are $10 different, so the new price is part of the FFG unit price increase. So Vital Assets are "appropriately" priced.

Plus Vital Assets comes with way more stuff (cards and plastic) than Priority Supplies.

So arguably it is a better deal than Priority in your opinion? For instance the Phase 2s did not come with significantly more stuff than the Phase 1s, yet the Phase 2s also cost $10 more.

From a purely dollars:gameplay perspective, probably. It costs 40% more, but you get 200% more battle cards. The extra plastic and the supply deck and hostage cards certainly help justify the price increase, but I wouldn't say they make it a better deal necessarily. However, if anyone were only wanting to buy one of them for some reason, I would recommend Vital Assets for sure.

Priority Supplies. I knew I was getting it wrong when I typed.
