Is there a place where we can see the data collected from the current invader league?
Invader league stats

I don't think it's been distributed yet. They were waiting since people were allowed to change their list once during the round robin portion.
I think @SnooSnarry had at least some of them. We were going over meta trends.
Data collected on the single elims lists which was done by jasonisconfused on the discord channel. Note that Notorious Scoundrels just had a podcast talking about elims data and they'll probably be going more in depth about it over the next few weeks.

I think the main takeaway is that GAR is probably the strongest faction while Empire seems to be the weakest simply because they can't seem to handle GAR effectively. Also the units that are traditionally good for Empire are not as effective in a world with Vital Assets out because they lack speed and do not want to close the distance, which all Vital assets does is encourage lists with mobility and close range damage.

Empire is also the slowest army. They can't compete with double secret mission, the AT-ST is no match for a Saber, Rex makes a joke of Veers because he actually uses his guns and his cards are superior. Empire is in a bad spot right now
They'll be fine.
Was everyone playing vital assets bc it was new or they felt it gave them an edge? Who was palying imperial? What would happen if all the GAR players played imperial and all the Imperial players played GAR?

Invader league uses all the battle cards available. What ifs about empire players isn't really a strong point, players play certain factions for different reasons and the # of total GAR players in RR was at least close to the # of Empire players. I believe it was 54 GAR players and 47 Empire players but the difference in % of how many made the cut is quite a stark contrast.
Edited by SnooSnarryI really don't understand how people put stock in lists with units that aren't fully known yet. BX/Arcs still have unknowns that could change everything about how they function.

It’s not unreasonable to ask the player quality question in a game where the players choose their faction.
If factions were randomly assigned, you’d be right that past performance shouldn’t be much of an issue. But that isn’t the case, so it’s reasonable to want to weight against past performance.

People are playing right now just with what we have and they are proving to be good. What unknowns do you think would suddenly make them bad?

Let's be honest, the only unit that was not ready to be used in the mod was cad bane( just because his command cards are not in the mod yet) + the unsploleid mandalorians and inferno squad. maybe those will change the balance when released, but the other units are already usable, staps and at-rt included. yes, padme misses her 2-pip, and the arcs don't have fives and eco, yet they are proving EXTREMELY good-and i bet they won't get any worse when they'll get all their options. oh, and i don't see the bx poison bomb beeig better then the sniper if it's anything like the bombs we have now. So i think this is a fairly good representation of the 'meta', at least before staps and co. (september?).
no you're right that ARC Snipers are the most resilient of the bunch and help with activation equality.
I'm not saying that the newer command cards don't make more of a difference than the original set as well.
I'm just saying there are some scenarios that the Imperials do better with than others (as you guys pointed out) and did the Imperial players play to those advantages or disadvantages or did they play the new stuff, to try out the new stuff and find they couldn't cope as easily (where if they had played the original objectives, they might have fared better)
We also don't know how close the games were (or I don't) as far as objectives or one roll going a certain way or player forgetting this rule or whatever.
I'm not saying GAR isn't good, I just think its a little early to announce the FALL of the Empire (not that everyone here was saying that)

Unfortunately no detailed infos like lists or played objectives.
In the qualifying games there was a mix of more and less experienced players. as far as I know this was not taken into account when drawing the groups. So an unlucky skilled player may have ended up in a difficult group where a lucky newbie may proceed to elims because of dropouts. Also the faction distribution may be off. there were groups with like 4-5 of one faction.
My takeout: The balance is fairly even with a slight advantage to GAR. A lot of veterans decided to take them which is a statement on its own, but that also might push the "objective" power a bit in GAR favor. Assuming these players would have made the cut with another faction too. What I have seen and experienced so far with GAR is that they are probably the easiest faction to play (throw in a ball of clones with a ton of green tokens and keep rolling while r2 and/or padme move to score extra) and are the most forgiving with their saves (ARCs are basically Bobas with all the surge tokens and impervious), but in most of the games I saw the opponents were all but helpless. Maybe in time we'll find effective counters to clones. And I would also not be surprised for them to get a small debuff with the next update.
What I also love in the statistics is the list variety! There is no one list or even archetype dominating one faction. The closest to that would be Clones with P2s, ARCs and Rex, but even here we see a variety in Padme/Tank/Obi-Wan. I think the meta is (or rather will be when those units hit the store) in a good place, that already looked far worse a few months back!
Thanks for the insight
Will any of these be on YouTube or something later? I know i don't play like a champ and could improve from watching others play
There are some to watch on twitch
