Those who fail to learn from history are just as abhorrent as those who use history to excuse actions against those who had nothing to do with what happened...

Except ships in a board game arent people. No one is a monster for thinking Deadeye Torp Scouts were BS.

The game almost died because FFG instituted a pay to win sales strategy with a few specific ships and kept it going for years. Keeping those ships weaker is a great way to show they learned from their mistakes, and I have zero sympathy for the toxic pricks who bought 3 jumpmasters just to make sure their scene was as NPE as possible.

But those who would like to fly them in the game with some reasonable chance at success are... Not saying Auzituks need to be as powerful as they were in 1.0, just saying using what happened in 1.0 as an excuse to keep them effectively in the dumpster in 2.0 is wrong.

After that the rest of the ships are okay, nothing stellar but not horrible either.

Except maybe the Auzituck. Wookies got punished.

You almost never see the Rebel TIE l/n, either. Sabine was there a bit in the beginning of 2nd ed, but she got too expensive.

At very least, however, Wookiees are a lot more fixable with points than Jumpmasters (although the cannon slot has done great!). Shave off enough points, and these things will be totally reasonable ships. A generic at 41 would put them the same as a B-Wing, and I think it'd be playable without being too strong.

The Auzitucks are almost there, Wulffwarro e.g. hits really hard (he wishes Trick shot was still cheap, fantastic on 180deg).

They are just too expensive, and the U wing steals their show.

Her TIE/Ln version also got dropped almost immediately for the Assault Shuttle version by players due to it being a 3 die attack with a crew slot (free Leia crew for the 2018 Coruscant Open showed that off) that could be hard to pin down. First points update both Rebel Sabines went up in price and then disappeared from the meta (Cassian was a better Leia carrier).
