Sorry for my long absence everyone. A number of things have kept me away from the game and working on the Character Sheet including the loss of my lap top. But after months and months (and months...) I finally have things back together, and am working on revising the Dark Heresy Character sheet to support the new stuff in the Radicals Handbook and Ascension. I've got most of the data entry done and some of the calculations done. I'm working on a way to limit the number of skills shown that will translate to Open Office, but I haven't figured out a good way to do it yet.

Anyway... If you want to take an early look at what is in there and give me feedback, please download the 12α (note it is not even beta) HERE . Please send me any feedback as I continue to work on this huge undertaking.

If you want to add in your own weapons is it "safe" to do so?

Yes. Just make sure you enter it in alphabetical order. If it isn't then it will mess up the look ups for the calculations.

1. Go to the point where you want to add the new weapon

2. Right click on the row number of the row below (should highlight the whole row and bring up a pop up)

3. Select Insert

This will create a new row so you can enter the new information.

OK. α2 is up and available HERE . I would really like people to download it and play with it and give me any input. Once I get finished with all the data entry, I'll move this to β and start working more with the calculations and such. I'm getting close as I believe I have finished Ascension and am most of the way through the Radical's Handbook and Salvation Demands Sacrifice. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Little bug: If selecting Pistol Training , the new version refers to the wrong entry for it's description (an Ascension Influence Talent).

Actually it was a data entry issue. It wasn't in alphabetical order and that caused the problem. It is now fixed (along with several others) in the next alpha version which is available HERE . Please give me feedback. I've started putting my characters into it to test it since I haven't received much which is slowing me down. I need YOU!

Apparently I uploaded the wrong file and I broke almost as many things as I fixed. So alpha4 is HERE .

I believe all data entry is now complete for Ascension and Radical's Handbook. So I am moving this to beta now. If you find errors, please let me know. Updates won't be as frequent as I try to work in a few things people have asked for. I still haven't found a good solution to limit the skill displays that will work with Open Office, but haven't given up yet. I'm hoping to move this to final version 12 in the near future. I do want to add a note for all who use the sheet and are running out of room in Talents and Traits as I am moving into an Ascension level campaign. One thing I have been doing for a while now is leaving the characteristic advances off Talents and Traits page and simply marking them in the empty column next to the characteristic. It makes it easier to take a look and see just where I am with a particular stat as well. I am leaving them in though so feel free to do it either way.

Had a few things come up that will prevent me from working on the sheet for about a week. So instead of holding everything up, here is version 12. It has been looked over by a few eyes and several things have been corrected. The latest minor addition is that I added numbers in the down for the Sound Constitution Talent so you don't have to add a new line every time you add Sound Constitution. you can just increment the number and keep track of it that way. This is version 12 of the file. The following features are added in this version:

• Added Ascension Information
• Added Radicals Handbook information
• Added Range to the Psyker Power Table
• Changed Experience Point levels per Ascension
• Added Psychic Spite, Supremacy, and Vampire from Disciples of the Dark Gods (sorry I missed those before)
• Corrected various minor mistakes to the data entry.

As usual, any problems, questions, requests, ideas, etc., please feel free to e-mail me or post them here and I will see what I can do. Please note that there are a lot of limitations due to making this spreadsheet compatible with Open Office. I'll do my best, but sometimes there's only so much I can do.
