i posted a house rule somewhere on this forum and wanted to know what others think of it, but im a bit forgetful and cant remember where i posted it so here it is:
Once a character has obtained 4 attribute points in any 1 attribute (must be acquired from trophies/fountains/etc.), then the monsters gain an additional die to roll in combat/psychic combat.
So for example your character begins with 3 str. and 3 craft. you now have a strength of 7 not counting items or followers. You draw a dragon with a str. 7 the dragon get 2 dice for his combat roll for a possible score of 19.
your character has gone from 3 craft to 11 craft and you draw a craft 10 demon, the demon now gets two additional dice and is now rolling 3 dice for a possible score of 28.
We developed this rule to make the game a little more interesting and to reduce the number of auto kills that we were experiencing. It makes the game a little more challenging and competitive. It also adds some strategy, you now dont want to "level" too fast if you dont have any items/weapons or followers.
what do you guys think of our house rule? oh i forgot our main house rule we play by: THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A FRIENDLY GAME OF TALISMAN!!!
