Our overlord plays Solidarity in the last turn of the first encounter. The card says "until your next turn". He insists that the card effect will be in play in the first turn of the second encounter. Is it so?

Tricky one !
But I would say "No" : tokens, damages, and conditions are kept, but effects or stopped. For example, if a hero ends an encounter with his first action, the second is lost while moving to the next encounter.
