I have just finished the Dream Eaters campain, but I have a question about the IV-B ending.

Won I-A and I-B
Interlude I:
I don't trust the cat -> 'you asked for it'

II-A leaved with 7 traces of Kadath
II-B Won
Interlude II: If you asked for it: skip interlude

III-A: Won
III-B: Won
Interlude III: If you asked for it: skip again

IV-A: Won
IV-B: Won

In the IV-B chapter, the only resolution was R4, because Carter was alive, but the cat didn't know anything, but we still have the Silver Key, and yet we can't escape, why?
