I don't know it this has been explained before so...

My question is:

What happens when a Former Champion with a power counter on it (-2 STR and +P icon) attaches Shadow's Blessing (+2 STR when P icon).

Infinite loop or what? :S

Former Champion
STR 5 (M) Renown.
Former Champion gets -2 STR for each power on him.
While Former Champion has 3 or less STR, he gains a P icon and deadly.
While Former Champion has 1 or less STR, he gains an I icon and stealth

Shadow's Blessing
Attached character gets +2 STR while it has a P icon.
Attached character gets -2 STR while it does not have a P icon.

Also,

If Former Champion with 1 power counter is participating in a P challenge, and Seafarer's bow is used to pump up his STR... must he abandon the challenge because he no longer has a P icon?

indeed it has been asked before. answer can be found here

also, you need to take the power icon away from him before he is declared as a participant in a challenge...once he is in his icons no longer matter.
