We all make mistakes lol I'll admit to trying to keep this things stats on the conservative side, as there just isn't much information to go off of.

I would definitely add Blast, and I'd ramp up the damage even more, but also make it Slow Firing, or have the Prepare (1 or 2) quality. Even a D&D red dragon can't belch flames every turn.
My beef with beasts in this game is that like most Nemeses they can't really handle a party. I think most animals should have some kind of sweeping or area attack (wings buffeting, tail lashing), plus some kind of "Linked" where they can use Advantages to attack a *different* target. But just mho...

The Rancor actually does, in case you forgot and didn't just leave it out as an exception.
I'm just a bit worried about it being able to neutralize a party in a single attack or in a short series of attacks. I'd consider adding a "once per encounter" limitation to its spewing ability to prevent just that.
By way of demonstration, I recently had a case where a compact flame projector took out a 4/14 Rival in one shot because it got 2 success (Damage+Pierce+Success=9-soak=5) and 4 Advantage. Crit and Burn, rolled Stunned (Staggers) so they took two turns of Burn damage (5*3=15) before they got a chance to act.

Well...it *is* a dragon... 😈 If they can't handle 15 points of damage, maybe they should run...but yeah, that's why I wouldn't allow my monster to attack the same target twice...spread the love, so to speak.

The concern would be more about taking 15 points of damage before you even apply Burn.
With 6 damage and Pierce 4, it is more potent than a Flame Projector unless the opponent has Cortosis or a pathetic Soak. Buffing the damage to 7 is probably the upper end of "not TPK."
A lot of this depends on the party and on how powerful the GM wants the opposition to the party to be. If this is a big "RUN AWAY" button, that's fine as long as it doesn't drop half the party in the first shot.

I think it also depends on how your visualize this creature, as most things we know about it are fairly limited. Is it one that prefers hit and run tactics, blasting fire and picking people up before dropping them back to earth? Does it get in close and roast everything before ripping it to pieces? Solo hunter or pack swarm? There are so many factors to consider, its really up to each GM to modify a basic stat block to their party.
I just enjoy taking these abstract things and try to get some numbers down on it to present it as a form of variety for the game instead of tossing another reskinned Rancor/Krayt dragon/terentatek

What about making its Fire Breath more of a "Oh sh$%" moment for the party, its powerful bread and butter move. Right now I think it may have trouble pulling off its auto-fire with its low AG.
I'm thinking make its AG 4 like its Brawn, then change the breath to this bad boy:
Fire Breath
Dmg: 6 Crit: 3
Qualities: Breach 1, Burn 2, Auto-fire, Slow-firing 1-2
Or jusz make it a Resilience check.
