First Rebel List

By Johnnypizza, in X-Wing Squad Lists

Hi everyone my name is Jon. I'm a new player to X-Wing and i just built my first list. I think it looks pretty solid but i just wanted to see if anyone could help me make it even better if possible.

Luke Skywalker

  • Ion Torpedos
  • Afterburners
  • R3 Astromech
  • Brilliant Evasion
  • Servomotor S-foils

Wedge Antilles

  • Elusive
  • Ion Torpedoes
  • R3 Astromech
  • Servomotor S-foils

Garvin Dreis

  • Elusive
  • R3 Astromech
  • Servomotor S-foils

This is an exact 200 point list any help would be appreciated. Thank You.

Maybe remove the brilliant evasion and the R3 astromech on wedge for an outmaneuver. ?

I say upgrade Garvin to thane, for a type of triple ace setup.

From there, you have a lot of unesseccary upgrades, so let's cut them all for starters.

Calculating...

Alright, you now have 35 points free for upgrades.

You can:

1. Add two proton torpedoes on luke and wedge, then another torpedo of your choice on thane. Say, ion torpedoes so you can deal big damage on the first turn, then ionize the target so you can finish it off next turn.

2. You can outfit all your ships with regen droids. Luke would be good with R5 astromech, since he already has the force, so he can afford to spend his action on regen. Wedge would probably like R2 imo, since his initiative means he can close foils and disengage easier. Thane could either take another R2/R5, or he could use a favorite combo of mine, elusive, then chopper. Chopper can use the elusive charge to regen, then do a red move to get it back. (Note:you could also change thane for jek porkins, to get the most out of the combo)

3. If you downgrade thane to a cheaper X wing, you can fit Jake Farrell in the A-wing. He's a great way to make sure your X wings get their focus tokens, or he can be a mini ace, using his ability on himself so he can reposition and still get a focus without stress.

So, theres my 2 cents. Hope I helped!
