I have heard on the internet that the CIS/Separatists are made from a different plastic than the Republic miniatures and I am worried about getting glue that doesn't work on the miniatures, what is the best glue for the CIS and the Republic?
What glue is best for clone wars core set
super glue works on everything and you'll need it for the soft plastic clones and obiwan
you can use the model airplane glue on the models on the sprue.
This is great for Legion. It helps getting a precise amount of glue exactly where it's needed. I've assembled 10 units of B1 battle droids and 4 B1 upgrades with this.
Best of luck building your army!
For the guys on sprues I used Testors Liquid Cement with Precision Applicator.
It melts the plastic and then when you put it together it dries and forms a bond. I liked it on the B-1s because I couldn't glue my fingers together.

Also you get some nice exfoliation when your fingers get drenched in plastic glue. 😛
Citadel plastic glues works great on the sprues, (you can reposition better than just super glue). Superglue for the models in baggies (aka clones)
The early Clone models (the ones that don't come on sprues) CA (Super) glue is necessary since Plastic Glue won't react with them to melt the plastic.
If the models are on a sprue, then plastic glue will work on them. CA glue works regardless.
