new to the forum and relatively new to the game.

im playing the game with my kids and wife: nothing competitive here.

we’ve just bought 2 deluxe expansions (Night watch and Lannister’s) and I’m not really sure how to incorporate them into the basic sets.

do I simply replace the duplicates (eg old Cersei with the new version?) or chop and change (eg keep old Tywin but bring in new Jaime?).

any help or suggestions are appreciated

Totally up to you! You can mix and match, even (2x Core Cersei + 1x Expansion Cersei) as long as you abide by the rule for Unique cards in deck (no more than three by name, no matter what version).

Essentially it's just a large amount of extra cards for deck building based on each faction (plus some cards for the other factions, that usually somewhat counter the main faction).

However if you are looking for ideas, I believe each of the deluxe boxes comes with two deck lists that can be built from the Deluxe box + one core set.
