Haven't really posted here yet. I only started playing/collecting Armada in February, and had the lock-down not happened, I may not have gone quite so far so fast, but it's been a lot of fun and quite a learning experience modding and building my Armada fleets.
Recently got some Ships from Mel's miniatures and despite having painted over 2500 Warhammer minis, painting ships was not as easy as I thought it would be. They came dangerously close to being gray blobs.
Vigil Class Corvette- I got this because I love the design and I wanted to use it as a Raider. Consequently, it's kinda CHONK and is even larger than the Arquitens. Looks great, but not to scale with Fantasy Flight ships... relatively speaking.
Sphyrna Class "Hammerhead" Corvette- I got this because I wanted to also be able to field the more robust and heavier looking version alongside Fantasy Flights renderings. They look great together, the combat refit is definitely a little beefier.
Mk1.4 Assault Frigate. Such a classic design, can't wait to fly a list with both the Mk 1 AND 2. The paint job on this is a thing that I am not proud of.
Dauntless Cruiser- This is one of my favorite ships in Legends. When I first saw the MC75 in Rogue one, I thought that it had to be inspired by the Dauntless cruiser. In case you were wondering, here's a comparison side by side. Dual MC75 lists; all the black dice!!! The paint job is a little too muddy, and I may have to try to fix it.

Looking good! The resolution isn’t quite enough to pick up the texture (which is the hardest part for 3D prints, at least IMO) but the details seem on point.
