Misleading info

By heartbitt, in Deathwatch

Just a question to clear my head.

I'm eager to get this game (I have the entire 2 series line, every single one), but FFG keep to post designer's diaries and if you go the FFG upcoming items, it says Deathwatch ARE AT THE PRINTER right now.

The website people are in contact or there are isolated teams working on the site? An info contradictory ON THE SAME SITE is misleading and unnecessary.

Thanks

How is the book being at the printers misleading? Even after the print run is done FFG will need to sort it out, pack it up and send it away to wholesale retailers and large distribution networks. This all takes time. So Deathwatch might be at the printer right now and see the light of day in August.

Pretty much that. It usually takes a month or so at the printers (especially with the big print order I can imagine Deathwatch being). Also, remember that RPG companies, unless they own their own printers, usually get shafted by the printers postponing print runs for bigger orders that come along. So yea, it'll be at the printers now, and then all at the FFG depot, to be sent out during August. Since Rogue Trader was on sale at Gencon in August, and then didn't get anywhere else until September/October elsewhere, I'm fairly sure FFG doesn't want that to happen again this time, so they'll be getting it all printed early so there are as few delays as possible.
