Hey guys,
I'm looking to get the Narrative Dice made in either Metal, Stone or Glass as sort of a collector's item. The major custom dice suppliers are unlikely to attempt it due to the foreseeable Copyright and Patent FFG has on their dice system.
However, does anyone know of a small time hobbyist or one that is among you that would be up to such a task?

I saw something on a FB group about someone doing it, let me see if I can dig it out.
Edit: Not sure if these forums are even moderated any more or if this would break any rules, but the FB post is here (Mods: feel free to delete if I'm breaking rules!), maybe that guy can help out?

If this is the post I'm thinking of (since I'm in two FB groups for the system), the guy making these is only doing colored resin/plastics, rather than glass or stone

ONLY two groups? 😉 and you are probably right, I didn't read the FB group in any great depth, was just hoping to provide a guide-post 🙂

It's going to be tricky since it's technically illegal to produce and sell.
One of the guys from Artisan Dice was showing off his custom made set at GamerNation Con a few years back. Sam laughed and complimented him, but he told the guy that it was fine as long as he wasn't selling them.
It has to do with the exclusive contract FFG has with their dice manufacturer.
Although, I don't know how any of that has chanced since the move to Edge Studios. I reckon not much has.
Well I found someone. Now I just need the File! They prefer .AI or .PSD
Anyone know where I might get that?

Nope, since both FFG and Edge Studios are subsidiaries of Asmodee.
Found this, the Narrative dice recolored and symbols changed. Think this would pass for some of the major custom dice makers?

Its possible, but it would be a pain to relearn all the symbols again. Small con, but probably worth it if you really want those dice
The other idea I had:
The narrative dice are also on Tabletop Simulator. They have been uploaded as .OBJ files that have been converted from .STL
If I was able to find the source of where they were uploaded. Could I potentially convert from .OBJ to .STL through Blender?

Would you mind sharing any great customizations you have found for TTS? I just made myself a chart for range bands and speed to add into it and will post here when I figure out how to share it, but I am new to it and I'm sure there is plenty of community content that I don't have to recreate. Plus, I haven't yet run a game with TTS, but is there in app support for voice communication or do you use an independent program for that? I'm having fun messing around with the program as it has such limitless potential. Any help is appreciated, thanks!
