Asmodee USA has revealed its June release schedule, confirming that its two-month shutdown (see " Asmodee Suspends New Releases Through May ") will end at the end of May. It plans 40 releases over the four-week period, including Plaid Hat Game’s Forgotten Waters , seven Marvel Champions releases, four Star Wars Legion SKUs, Cosmic Encounter Duel , five releases for CMON’s Song of Ice and Fire, Sheriff of Nottingham 2nd Edition , three Helvetiq titles, three Djeco titles, and seven Star Wars X-Wing SKUs, among others.

It's not just 'seven damage decks officially released' is it?

It's entirely possible that some of the delayed re-releases (2e Saw's Renegades etc) may be getting out onto shelves at the same time as the new ships (Xi-class, LAAT-i, HMP), which could explain the additional SKUs. We know from the leaked distributor pre-order listing that they were still in the pipeline, so they could be throwing them out now to get what revenue they can.

Where? Answer: It hasn't.

Article is clickbait and fake.

I’m guessing it’s the damage decks that have been soft rolled out for a while.... I got the ones I ordered before the US locked down.

From the Asmodee website.

"COVID-19 UPDATE
Asmodee USA Distribution continues to ensure the safety of our employees. Our sales team remains available to fulfill reorders as best they can, but please be aware there will be delays in shipments. At this time, we have announced our releases for June. We wish you all good health and safety."

COVID-19 UPDATE - Asmodee USA Distribution continues to operate with the safety of our employees in mind. Our warehouse remains open to ship online orders, but please be aware there may be delays in shipments. New releases will resume beginning June 5, 2020. We wish you all good health and safety .

They may be pulling the number of SKUs from bad info but Asmodee has stated the release timeline and said they've announced the releases...we'll see if anything additional comes to light.

In addition, looking at the Asmodee store there are ten pre-orders up. The seven faction damage decks and the three ships from the new wave, which still show a September US release per FFG's site.

I assume it’s the damage decks.

There was a leak with a few X-Wng ships on the list. Those I remember are:

  • ETA-2 Actis
  • Nimbus-Class V-Wing
  • Droid Tri-Fighter
  • Jago Fett Slave I
  • HMP Droid Gunship
  • LAAT/i Gunship
  • Xi-Class Shuttle
  • TIE/RB Heavy
  • Saw's Renegades
  • TIE Reaper
  • Imperial Raider

There is also a Continental (WT) Expasion Pack on the leaked list, but no one really knows what it might be.

I am just confused by the ETA-2 and V-Wing for the Republic. Both of those ships are in line with the 2/3/H/S fragile fighters the Republic already has. Both are known for being superlight starfighters. I just don't see the need for the Republic to have more high Agility ships like this. But who knows, maybe the Actis will be a 3/3/3/1 or something?

3 new ships now (1 republic, 1 CIS and 1 empire or scum) and 3 new ships next wave: seems legit.

Well, both ETA-2 and the V-wing are pretty iconic Republic ships - there was no doubt they would be released sooner or later. Similar stats, but it's possible to make them somewhat unique (giving cannons to the ETA and 180º firing arc for the V-wing, for instance).

EDIT: here is hoping that "Continental ( W orking T itle?)" is the Razor Crest!

In case anyone is curious, its the damage decks. The following link is from the Asmodee USA website, the release schedule for June.

I just need to know whether I'm ordering 3 or 4 LAAT/i's

Or Y'know, like 8 😜

I never buy more than 2 of a thing until I really know I’ll need it.

I am guessing you might get 4 in a list if they are the cheapest generic and upgrades are minimal. I can’t imagine more than 2 realistically and have them back something else like an ARC, torrent spam, or some Jedi.

Yeah, that's why I'm kinda figuring on 3. If they are like the Republic version of a U-wing, which is assume they're close enough to, 4 with like nothing on them might be possible, but maybe not fun for anyone.

For a competent list build, they will probably be best as a one or two off in support roles I'd wager as well. But I don't do 'competent'. I bang my head against the worst lost I can find until I make it work or figure out why it doesn't. 😅 😁 Ask the 5xN-1 experiments I did lol.

Spelling of my gawd my auto type hates me kill me now.

These days it's all being played on TTS anyway, so go wild! You won't need physical X-Wing Miniatures for years.

I disagree with the timeline.

In Minnesota (sample picked because it’s where I live), stuff is going to open June 1 as long as gatherings are smaller (restaurants at half capacity and with a safety plan for example).

There won’t be massive system opens or worlds for a while, but local play groups will be forming again soon. I know our squad of <10 is talking about it as soon as the game store is allowed to have half capacity people in it.

I think a lot of us are being cautious in waiting to see the effect of these reopens, and I imagine those who do venture out will have a hard time finding games. I'm not particularly optimistic about how this is going to go in some states (including my own, Texas).

I live in the wilds of central upstate NY, in the Finger Lakes region. The governor is cautiously rolling out a staged plan that will reopen restaurants (I’m a restaurant worker) in something like six weeks.

The Finger Lakes is basically a vacation spot for people in major East Coast metropolitan areas; NYC, Philly, etc. And my greatest concern is that a bunch of people eager to GTFO of the cities are gonna drag this stupid virus straight up here and infect the **** out of my area, which has heretofore been largely infection-free, because we all took this thing seriously and sheltered when told to shelter. Either that, or they don’t come, and we don’t have a tourist industry to speak of anymore, and myself and most of the people I know are jobless (which is probably preferable). Either way, we’re probably screwed.

But this, too, shall pass. Unless it doesn’t. 🙂

Maybe, maybe not. I do think localized areas are probably much safer than traveling to play so it’ll pick up much sooner than big events will.

And with the power of the internet, you won’t need to venture out until you know you have a game.

WT = World Tournament, maybe a tournament kit?
