I have some cards from Arkham Edition, but none of the new LCG cards.

Are old cards from the CCG, like Arkham Edition, still legal in tournaments?

Are they still commonly used in casual play, or would current players frown on use of the old cards?

Recent "official" tournaments have not allowed use of black-bordered cards.

However, FFG's position is that each 'servitor' (local coclcg entusiast) can run tournaments using any rules he sees fit.

Black bordered cards work dandy for play as long as you use sleeves, as the card backs are different.
