Squished by a Hutt

By P-47 Thunderbolt, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

This is an oddball and hopefully quick question:

So in a PbP, one of the characters just got floored by a Hutt. Mechanically, what would happen if said Hutt simply flopped his bulk on top of the poor Mando and stayed there?

Damage, Staggered/Immobilized, check to get away, Action vs. Maneuver to squish, etc. I don't want to be to harsh with the consequences (and I may not be able to, depending on circumstances), but how would you suggest handling this?

They aren't labeled as such, but I treat Hutts as sil 2, if that makes any difference.

I'd probably use Brawl or Athletics, and make it contested (setback or more for being prone). The Hutt wins on bulk, but loses on ability to be precise, so there should still be a chance to avoid getting hurt. I'd just use the normal Brawl damage, since PCs can be Hutts and I don't recall they get a bonus to Brawl damage.

Of course if the target was already down and couldn't move, I think you could justify a suitable suffocation crit...or just take it out of structured play and narrate whatever you want, because a Hutt giving a Mando a lap dance isn't going to turn out well for the Mando.

No. No it is not. :D

Thanks, I'm thinking make it a contested Brawl check, 3 Advantage to squish. Then contested Athletics vs. Brawl (with Setback as appropriate) to shove off the Hutt. I think I'll probably just use the normal suffocation rules (3 rounds before any damage because of the PCs Brawn).

What do you think of this?
