Spend movement points to push figure

By Yuna1979, in Imperial Assault Rules Questions

Hallo,

in the mission "HISTORY REPEATS" we have this rule:

"The Imperial mission token represents Lorn. Lorn is a neutral figure. A hero adjacent to Lorn can spend 1 movement point to push Lorn up to 2 spaces".

We have a hero adjacent to Lorn and that hero perform a move to gain 4 movement point. So, I think that:

1) the hero can spend only 1 movement point each time; so he can't spend in the same time all its 4 movement point to push Lorn up to 8 spaces;

2) the hero can spend 1 movement point to push Lorn to 2 spaces, then spend 2 movement point to be adjacent again to Lorn, then spend his last 1 movement point to push Lorn to 2 spaces again.

Is it right?

Thanks for your help.

I'd say you're right, you spend 1 movement point at a time on Lorn and then have to move to catch up to him before you push him again.

Thanks very much

Regarding your second question, remember that pushing is non-directional and it uses the "Move X Spaces" rule. So a hero can spend a movement point to push him to another space adjacent to the same hero and spend a second movement point to push two more spaces.

Yes, the ability is not limited to once per activation. In fact, if another hero gets movement points outside of his activation (e.g. Tactical Movement from Fenn) while adjacent to Lorn, those can also be spent to move Lorn (one at a time).
