He seems to work like Dooku to me, a scalpel used for precision strikes, as opposed to the smash 'em up style of Grievous. The thing about Cad is that he can essentially position himself anywhere on the board that he wants to go, which is huge. He is going to wreck your opponents plans on missions like Moisture Vaps or Recover the Supplies because his tokens can force them to over commit in order to defend against him. His positioning abilities also allow to him to position defensively, so that his is on a weak flank using cover.
I'm hoping that he can pop out of his token without the help of the enemy. Would really add a lot of options especially with that 3 pip as a grab an objective and teleport back.
My guess is that the auto reveal is for the bomb and fake tokens and we have not seen Bane's rules.

I would agree he may have bad defense, but it would depend oh how much control he has over his token. If he can pop out at will close with his 1 pip it will be brutal. Throw duck and cover with danger, uncanny luck, and the fear of him using that 2 pip next tuenmay keep him safe for a turn and improve his impact.

100% agree here. Feel like they really are screwing Bane over until he get a cheap commander to run with him, but maybe FFG knows what they are doing.
