Cad Bane Leaks
Cad Bane's cards look fun.
Do we know how many of each token he comes with, by chance?
Two sets of three. One set blue, one set orange. That way the tokens do not get confused if both players are using Cad Bane.
Who needs a goofy cowboy clown in a science fiction?
On a related note, does the player get to choose where they place each of the 3 tokens or is it supposed to be random?

Read the 3 pip. Also, what makes you think anything in this game is randomized?
Straight up honestly, I'm just really tired and mentally fried. It's been a day, don't mind me haha
Is it just me, or does it seem like a significant chunk of rules are missing in regards to the Bane tokens. Like, what causes them to be revealed/triggered?

I’m guessing that you never watched much of the Clone Wars series? Cad Bane was one of the cooler parts of the show.

Looks more like a newt with a raygun.

I was just about to say the same 😁
So I’m effect, it’s possible for Cad to never deploy if the enemy is crafty about which tokens to avoid range of.
Although, the mind games of “will something happen here” is kind of neat. Very Cad ambush style.
I read each of those command card titles in his voice too.

Eww. Terrible grammar on the first sentence, the second sentence isn't even a sentence, and the third implies that a mini could activate more than 1 in a turn. Not sure if that's intentional, but it doesn't use the "one or more" verbiage or tell you what happens if you come into range of 2 of them.
Oh FFG, your grasp of the English language remains minimal and your rules remain vague. Don't ever change.

I get what you're saying but then again, which part of this summary (mind you, no confirmation this is a quote taken away directly from a rules reference document) didn't you understand, despite it not being given in perfect English?

The third sentence, as stated above. I don't understand if you're supposed to trigger one, or all that you end up within range 1 of.
I don't understand the part that actually matters . The rest of it is just laughably bad.

As stated and from what we can see, this is nothing but a Discord message written to summarise the rules. No giveaway whether or not this will be the official description given in the insert.
Don't get me wrong, as a veteran X-wing player I know more than for sure FFG struggles with putting together concise, thought through, and straightforward rules. But that still doesn't mean one must get all snappy over the grammar structure of an expansion leak...

I'm shocked you're complaining about rules based on a leak. Just shocked....

Just here for a drive by? Very mature.

That wasn't stated anywhere. This is the first mention that the words in that "leak" were possibly not the exact text.
"Not sure if that is the whole story though" does not in any way imply that it's merely a summary. The quotes around the text imply the exact opposite.
I guess I shouldn't have assumed the rules leaked on a rules leak thread were, in fact, leaked rules.

That's... Literally the author of the thread? If anyone's here on a drive-by, that'd be you, sir, letting everyone know how discontent you are with the wording...
To get back on track with the thread, how good this 3pip is will depend on whether or not the player in control of Bane will be allowed to know which token is which while placing them. If not, the depth of mind games it will take to balance the possible risk and possible gain might prove overwhelming. Then again, if they do, the same mind games might just prove to shallow for the enemy to fall into.
As for the 2pip, it's nice of it to include another unit. This is not seen often among operatives.
I assume the Bane player knows which is where, otherwise it doesn't make any sense...
