New Tannhäuser Rules PDF Printing Horror

By Munnyman, in Tannhauser

Hey I wanted to print my new tannhäuser rules but the 90 page heavy 50 mb thick pdf is not really suited for print.

Does anybody have some clue on how to print that beast without overloading your connection? Certian settings?

I tried to print the file into several smaller pdf parts but this did't work either as FFG protected the file which I can understand on the one side however on the other side I bought this product so I also want to print it out for reference purposes. I don't want to wait until the print version is available here in Europe although I will certainly purchase that too.

So any tips?

Don't print in one go. Print 5 pages at a time.

Or

Copy and paste the text out of it into a text document and print that.

Or

spend the $10 to buy the book. You'd use $30 in ink to high quality print the book anyway...

True. Sad but true.

The way the PDF is done, I will only use it as digital resource.

I would buy the book if I could lay my hands on a copy here in Austria. Won't order from FFG directly as the shipping isn't worth costs

Here in Germany the rules haven´t arrived yet, too ;-)

You could try converting the book into images by taking screenshots of each page, or part thereof, and then assembling/ printing it through an image editor. Probably a lot of effort just to print the book, but if buying a printed copy isn't an option for you, it'd work.
