Probably not, unfortunately.

But the current situation has at last motivated me to explore TTS and Vassal! TTS absolutely kills my laptop and strikes me as counter-intuitive; not a great combination, though it’s clear that others like it. Vassal seems like it’s going to work for me though. It’s not as system-intensive, and it’s more of a direct simulation of playing the game.

Or just offer pizza that seems to work 99% of the time. I had a friend who is lactose intolerant and I could still get him to do stuff for pizza.

probably no game nights but I've been trying to get my brother into the game for a long time, quarantine might be enough pressure to make him crack 🙂

I really can’t wait until we can get back to a place that allows us to play.

I convinced my brother to play tomorrow. He doesnt play very often so I have to tone it down a bit. That being said it's great to make lists again.

I can't wait to play at flgs but I know it's gonna be a long time.

Living in a country which has only partly locked down, local club is open, albeit with hard restrictions (rightly so). Due to working in essential work, I have not been able to make it there, partly due to work schedule colliding often, partly due to having had a very minor cold, which meant self isolating at home. Luckily I can play at home with the kids. So while I got TTS when it was at sale 50%off on Steam I still do not have tested it.

I was wondering where you'd gotten to, @Cubanboy . Just took a quick skim of some of the nonsense threads that have been popping up and I have to say, the positive ones are few and far between now. Good on ya!

No games with my regular group for the forseeable future for me, but I happen to have a very accommodating wife who's learning to play during the pandemic!

Our local gaming club will reopen this Wednesday for limited audience (max. 10 people at the same time) only. So, we are currently planning with time slots etc.

Meanwhile we are also experience TTS and Vassal.

I am also in the pressure my brother to play with me crowd.

I've found boba, fenn, and a friend list with minimal upgrades is great for new/reluctant players. Its direct enough that they can run it relatively easily. It's also good enough that you can run fun stuff against it.

Nope, it’s tabletop sim only if you live in some states. I currently am at the point where I believe the local covid lockdown is going to go on until the 2022 election in this state unless the people force the governor out

Got a game in with the dad-in-law almost got the wife to put some TIEs on the table.

Definitely got the X-Wing bug again. Can't wait for the next store event.
