Clone Wars Unit Construction....

By Talisker55, in Star Wars: Legion

I have yet to purchase any Clone Wars era items due to, what appears to me, construction difficulty. The sprues have me concerned whether my fat ever-increasing arthritic fingers can do it.

I purchased the crashed escape pod expansion. R2 was fine, as was the escape pod, minus the tiny little door things. C-3PO's right leg was a real PITA.

Can any of you out there let me know whether you found the clone wars era stuff a pain to glue or am I just in my own head?

Cheers!

Clone's weren't a pain for me at all I actually found them a bit easier to put together than the previous products. If you mean droids though, I have no idea I only bought the clone stuff but like I said those shouldnt be a problem at all.

B1's are pretty tedious to put together. If you thought C3PO was bad, perhaps droids are not for you. Phase 1 clones are soft plastic in bags, so no change, but phase 2 are on the sprue. I found them delightful to assemble.

Droidekas and B1s are a pain to put together. Phase 1 are easy, phase 2 only fit one way and are pretty simple. The BARC speeder was a pain though as far as little fiddley parts go as well.

I would put them together for you if you lived my town just for more opponents. You may ask a buddy if they'd give you a hand.

B1s took a bit of getting used to.

I assembled 6 units for myself. By the end of that I had a pretty good system, so when I helped my friend assemble 5 units of his as well as the 4 upgrade packs I snagged shortly after, it was actually kinda enjoyable.
