*RUMOR* Anakin and Maul next

By Tirion, in Star Wars: Legion

I don't have the photos, but apparently, The Anakin Skywalker commander box was listed on Asmodee. Can't seem to share the screenshot.

EDIT: Whoops! I lied! It was found on this website. Disregard this post, please.

This is where the fun begins is almost definitely going to be his 1 pip card

I think that "You underestimate my power" would be better for his 1 pip as sounds great to show all his (and only his own) true power letting him gain abbilities giving him additional attacks or something like that.

We'll just have to forget at that point what happened on the movie after he said that, if not, no one would like to play that command card.

Yeah, dude got all his organic limbs cut off after that. Pride goeth before the fall...

Presumably, the Anakin Skywalker Commander will be his Jedi Knight version. But I wonder...

What if later , FFG released a Darth Vader Commander or Operative for the Republic faction that represented "Anakin" after he fell to the Dark Side and Darth Sidious dubbed him Darth Vader.

That Darth Vader could have these Command Cards:

I just want to point out that this hashtag is painfully ambiguous.

"Stay at home, morons!" ( 👍 ) vs. "Stay-at-home morons." ( 👎 ) 🤔

Maybe both

Since it got brought up... I wonder if FFG would ever have a young Vader for republic. Maybe with jedi hunter and “you may not equip any other units with Force slot in your army.” So it’s clear that it’s order 66 era and not doing some super immersion breaking Vader and Kenobi nonsense.

Probably not for a long while, but I’m sure someday if Legion continues far enough into the future it’ll happen.

I could see where people wild like this. Never gonna happen though

Well, I don't think there are spaces and punctuation in hashtags, so you have to infer from context that I meant the former.

Just like my first hashtag wasn't "FIRST! World problems." 🤨

Well Anakin turning into Darth Vader and the Republic turning into the Empire happened at the same time.

True, but the empire had the republic aesthetic and used clone troopers for the brief duration of Vader not being in his suit.

True, but in that case there should also be an Imperial (pre-suit) Anakin and Imperial Clones, too. 😁

Which was my point. And clearly I did. And even unambiguous hashtags can get fully hijacked by the opposition. But I still don't like ambiguous ones. (Not to be confused with neutral ones.)

Would there be anything stopping someone from making a post-Order 66 army with Anakin and clones?

Im planning on doing just this once he comes out.

Nope, people are free to play the empire faction whenever they want!

Agreed. I have been watching the Onderon story arc for Clone Wars, and that has me itching to throw some rebels and Jedi together for a battle.

They actually covered something interesting in the latest "behind the scenes" roundtable episode about Mandalorian: the fight between Darth Maul, Obi-wan, and Qui-gon is the determining point for the fate of Anakin's training, and therefore by extension, the fate of the galaxy (Hence "Duel of the Fates").

Oh. So if the duel had gone the OTHER way... Anakin would have... TURNED EVIL?!?!?! Wow. Totally worth it, George.

I believe it was more if Qui-Gon had lived, and therefore trained Anakin, then Anakin would not have turned evil. It was the fact that Maul killed Qui-Gon.

Yeah, becuase Qui-Gon was the wise father figure Anakin needed. Obi-Wan was more like an older brother who had the responsibility thrust on him by Qui-Gon's death.

Obi-Wan did his best, but he didnt have the experience or understanding of The Living Force like his master did. This gets driven home in the bickering arguments he gets in with Anakin in episode 2. Its like a brotherly power struggle and not a master/apprentice.

Actually that is nicely presented in the original Clone Wars by Tartakovsky in the scene right before Anakin is knighted.
