Do not forget that now Luke brings 6 command cards with him

I don't ever bring his 6 unless he's the only character i bring ( haven't done that in forever) Luke's 1st set of 2 and 3 pips are easy to replace since they are so generic.

Usually 3-4 Luke specific command cards id all you'll ever need in any list

Personally I think we should be stacking up all our list's pertinent command cards, dealing out 7 at random, and that's what you have.

No, it’ll be “I’ll try spinning, that’s a good trick” and gives him Full Pivot for the turn.

Or maybe "Low Ground," text reads: "Defeat this miniature at the start of the round. Cry salt tears."

"My powers have doubled since the last time we met"

"I'm taking him now!"

"This is where the fun begins!"

"You underestimate my power"

"We've got superior forces, and a Jedi!"

Just some ideas of what Anakin's command cards could say.

That would be a neat tournemant format. Wouldn't work for the new factions that well sobce they dont have additional generics yet.

In such a format, Chewbacca would weep bitter bitter tears.

Yeah, or what if you drew 4 3 pip cards. You'd never get to go first ever.

In a casual game play I'd go for it, i don't know about a tournament. People get a little too testy as it is, playing for fancy $3 cards and tokens.

I'd stay away from Maul seps really need a commander on the lower end of the points scale. Super Tactical droid probably work as a generic maybe a unique like Kalani or Kraken. Wouldn't mind a Iden analog in Durge as he did command a unit of IG lancer droids or even some one like Worm Loathsome from the clone wars movie.

Someone like Nute Gunray

Nute is great for flavor, but good commander he is not... and would rather have him in an objective pack or something. Irony being the seps did have a lot of great admirals and generals Worm Loathsome from the clone wars movie was a solid if uninspiring general and probably would do well as seps version of Leia or Veers. Heck would love Kraken just to paint him.

This rumour doesn't seem as widespread as the last one coming from the supposed source. I haven't seen anything on social media, can someone confirm if stuff is on discord?

If FFG continues the trend of following the same order of releasing certain "types" of units (Commander/Operative, Support, etc.) that the GCW released, then there should be two Special Forces units accompanying whatever Commanders/Operatives are released. Following this set of four should be the Specialists packs for the CW if the pattern holds true.

I think Nute could make a good commander. He'd be more about boosting your Droid Troopers in exchange for low (or no, with the Noncombatant keyword) personal damage output. That said, I agree the Separatists have a ton of commander options based on the movie and animated series. Whorm Loathsome, Kraken, Rift Tamson, Wat Tambor, Admiral Trench, Kalani, Osi Sobeck, etc..

If “Perfidy” isn’t one of Anakin’s cards, the designers are truly asleep at the wheel. 😛

While I love Maul as a character and will be happy to see him in Legion when and if he does come out, he should not be part of CIS. He not only never worked for them, but arguably worked against them. Also, if I were to make a list of things that CIS needs as a faction, an expensive lightsaber-wielding character would probably be at the bottom of the list. Especially if he's an operative, the only use I could see for him is slightly more variety for DTF lists.

Admiral Trench is probably at the top of my list for new commanders I would like to see. He's a cool character, and would be an amazing model, especially since they could do cyborg/non-cyborg variants. Any of the Super Tactical Droids are an easy second place, or even a generic T-Series. Even if we do get an operative next, and even if it is an expensive lightsaber-wielder, Ventress makes way more sense than Maul.

So disclaimer I don't have a hat in this ring as I don't play cis and an fairly indifferent towards the idea if a scum faction.

But all of the mail never worked for cis stuff is kind of splitting hairs for me.

I mean to me the events of EP 1 are the birth of the cis or at least it's conception. And he was a part of that on the side of the TF.

I just don't think it's this giant Canon breaking leap is all and that in EP 1 he is closer to being part of the cis that he is against it.

But again I'm fairly ambivalent when it comes to this debate.

Edit: wish listing of stats. Really want to be able to field all 3 sabers users in 8 activation.

Maul 175pts / 5HP / 3Suppression /

2 Force Slots / Jump1 / Relentless / Deflect / Immune: Pierce / Nimble

Melee: 4Black, 3White, Impact2, Pierce2, Critical2

All command cards will focus Maul only.

To be clear this is a homebrew you posted

He's CIS in X-Wing, will be CIS in Legion as well.

To be fair, in that instance it is to provide the only movie canon character for specific ship, which isn't quite the case here.

@Tirion I appreciate you bringing the rumor here regardless of your stance on the issue, I'm surprised how quiet the whole thing has been.

It is a bit of splitting hairs, I do agree it makes a bit more sense to leave him out, but I do understand that the Star Wars fans who primarily are fans of the films (and not the TV show) will predominantly know Maul from Episode 1, seeing him with Droids and not be aware of the nuances. If they include Darth Maul, I would like to see Quigon.

He is also one of the CIS characters in Battlefront 2 for what its worth.

Nothing would make me happier than to see Qui-gon Jinn. He is my favorite Jedi!

He is the reason force ghosts are possible. His death was the will of the force (or something)...

They actually covered something interesting in the latest "behind the scenes" roundtable episode about Mandalorian: the fight between Darth Maul, Obi-wan, and Qui-gon is the determining point for the fate of Anakin's training, and therefore by extension, the fate of the galaxy (Hence "Duel of the Fates").
