The old out door map

By Toolian, in Tannhauser

In case if no one knows about it, you can find a PDF cut up copy (thank you Malechi) here

I'm bringing this up because I recently moved, while unpacking, I found my copy (printed and laminated)

This map was first introduced after Gen-Con of 2008 (been that long?) I feel old.

Big reason I bring this up is because the idea behind it, was not all that bad.

I like the idea of having oil tanks as playing a major part of a scenario, oil being a big part of modern warfare.

The map itself was pretty poor. Circles were under sized, image quality was sub-par, and some circles were out of place (line of sight).

Not long after, FFG introduced out door map 2.0 (the map coming out in the next release).

Personally, I believe the first out door map warrants revisiting at a more professional level.

You feel old because you remember something that happened two years ago? Son, wait until you think back to when you first got your driver's license and realize it was MORE THAN HALF OF YOUR ENTIRE LIFE ago. That's feeling old. =P

Thanks for the map though. Poor quality or not I always enjoy more terrain for Tann. =)

Steve-O - thank you for saying what I thought. Two years ago...dang....I have memory issues that are older than that! ;-) As to that driver's license....well it was longer ago than half my life ago...sigh...

Ritterton is now realizing that he is in fact starting to become old! ;-)

2 years is a lot considering how long human life is. gui%C3%B1o.gif
