Hi,
a real beginner question from me about the deck building strategy/philosophie:
In what percentage do you divide your own deck?
Meaning ho many Units, Tactics, Help etc.
Is there a "best-practice" from your side?

Hi!
Even If I don't think there are "rules" about it, I can suggest some good ratios for each archetype.
These are VERY basic suggestions, but do their job!
AGGRO DECKS
You'd like to see Units come one after another and for this purpose the best thing to do is create a solid Unit-base with a bunch of good "acceleration-support" support cards. Save some space for key Tactics and ignore Quests.
UNITS: 30
SUPPORTS: 10
TACTICS: 10
CONTROL DECKS
The focus is board-control, counters, reactions to the oppo's choices...The best thing to do is to have a solid strategy but a flexible building. In this game pure Control decks are not that viable right now, but with a lot of testing and tuning you can reach amazing results. The best flexibility is given by Tactics, helped by good support cards (some "resource accelerations" and some "cures-prevention" stuff). A few, well chosen Units will close the deal once they hit the table.
UNITS: 24
SUPPORTS: 12
TACTICS: 14
AGGRO-CONTROL
Even if it seems a meaningless Hybrid, is the concept I like the most right now and it's pretty viable right now (Orcs, Caos, Dwarves, Empire).
You split the deck in two different "faces": strong Units with a "soft" cost curve and some surprise-effects that can give you some resiliance in the long run, where basic Control decks are not that efficient.
Think about a bunch of solid and "fast" Units, helped by bigger ones, then add some supports and a variable amount of tactics, depending on how you want to be "strong" in the mid-late game.
UNITS: 26
SUPPORTS: 12
TACTICS: 12
Here it is.
Hope it helps.
Thank's a lot - an excellent starting!
That really helps me!
You're Welcome!
