The other thread about the house keywords made me think of this.
If you had the choice to give your favorite house a keyword, what would it be and what would it do? My only request is that you try to make it balanced and not overpowered.

I wouldn't. I'm not a fan of the house specific keywords that we have. I think the houses can given their own unique abilities/etc wihout going the house specific keyword route.
I probably would've made vigilant say "After you win a challenge as the attacker in which you have at least one character with Vigilant, claim an additional power for your house. After you lose a challenge as the attacker in which you have at least one character with Vigilant, discard one power from your house." Much more in line with the Baratheon characters tendency towards act now, think later strategy.
Honorable: House Arryn only.
If this character is participating alone, the opponent must stand and remove all but one of their participating characters.
After the challenge resolves the winning character claims 1 power, and the loser must kill thier participating character.

I have to agree on this one. I'm in the process of teaching my Dad how to play, and he has enough issues with the game as it is. I think they were tolerable in CCG, but LCG doesn't really need them. Just make it a normal character/card ability for the half dozen cards with the house specific key words.
I'm not sure I'd make new keywords, in a lot of ways I like the existing ones I'd probably just prefer to alter them all a bit for a bit more balance, or just add some support to make them more viable.
Intimidate - Probably the strongest keyword other than maybe Vigilant(also the most commonly used keyword right now I think). I'd much rather this one worked more like stealth maybe - Say, when resolving a challenge each character with Intimidate allows you to choose 1 defending character with less strength to not count it's strength for resolution.
Vigilant - Also very strong - I'd much prefer to see Vigilant only work while the character is participating.
Vengeful - Though not as strong as Vigilant as above I'd like to see this one also while participating.
These three changes to the above keywords would make them less unbalancing while still good so that we could maybe see more of them, since right now they are so strong it's probably hard to justify adding more.
The others I like though Targs have very few Ambush cards and tend to have trouble affording them while the Starks always have to worry about clogging up their draw with the Winterfell Tutor not around anymore.
