As far as canon, the DW book specifically mentions that DW has dreadnoughts (page 330).

Didn´t someone from FFG mention that Dreads weren´t included because they would be vehicles and they would reappear with upcoming vehicle rules, alsongside predator tanks and such?

Also, wouldn´t a dread in DW not simply be a matter of paintjob?
