Who has played some games with multiple Onagers? How many...2...3...4?!?! Was it fun?
I imagine being able to park some Onagers on opposite sides of the map and double or triple bang some poor Rebel ship with superweapons had got to be satisfying.

I've played double and triple Onagers. Using TTS, so I didn't need to buy multiples just to test the idea. Romodi, Jerry, or Motti are all decent commanders.
They wreck Starhawks - vs 2, it gets to shoot once, generally. I haven't tried them against an SSD, but I'd expect that to die rapidly too.
However, they are totally unbalanced as a fleet: either you win because of the actual matchup, or you lose because of the matchup.
You do need a practice game to get the hang of how they work, and then it's pretty much a foregone conclusion.
The challenge, I think, is how to make a balanced fleet using one at a time.
Yep, two Onagers is super fun. Killed a Starhawk on turn four. Definitely had a third ship, but cannot for the life of me remember what it was now.
400pt or 600? or some other number?
I'm currently playing an 800pt game, and my Imperial fleet has double Onagers and an SSD. Starting turn 2 shortly, both my Onagers have ignition shots against his Starhawk this turn. We'll see what that's like.
