Has there been any news about the new app, as the old one does not have updated point values?
I am fine using YASB 2.0, but it is not really the best when using mobile phone. Also, I cannot save my premade squadrons, so it would be nice to have the official app some time.
No word or idea about the official app, with everything going on I am pretty sure its on the backburner for a while.
I recommend using Launchbay Next, its a great app and I prefer using it over the official app since it came out.
I second LaunchBay. Calculator is a great added bonus as well for doing maths at tournaments.

My version has the pilots from the card packs for a while. He even puts in stuff before it is released (these are in blue text). Never had any security issues with it and I have been using it since the V1 days. Latest update had things spoiled on FFG Live.
Yep. Squads designer is my go-to. I prefer its look and UI to everything else out there. It is updated within a day or two of when new points or spoiled/preview content is released.

Is 1.35.0 the most recent version?
I downloaded Squads Designer just before making that first impressions post so it should be the most recent version and my test for 'does this have the most recent stuff' was trying to recreate my last list which had Leia equipped with Mag-Pulse (and other things) Leia is not an available pilot for the YT-1300 and Mag-pulse is 200pts (I assume that's shorthand for 'unknown cost of spoiled content' same as with other squad builders). Is there something I should check to enable besides the 'use latest points' option?

My version is 1.44.0. Try updating from inside the app. There is an update button on the main screen.

Saw that after reading the last post and tapped it but nothing happens... 😞
Edit: I have to enable all app permissions to access my files and enable install from unknown sources for the update to work.
