Understandable! I was trying to figure if you were referring to his AE Natural Talent or his Hero ability, but those say to exhaust or {limit once per round). š
Received my Dr Strange Pack yesterday and gave him a run-out against Rhino I/II and Klaw I/II. A little too easy against Rhino and never felt threatened and perhaps got a little overconfident against Klaw ! Eventually beat Klaw but only pulled it out of the bag with 2 acceleration tokens on the main scheme and close to losing. Really enjoyed playing Dr Strange and the Invocation deck is a great addition with great resources to remove threat and inflict damage on the villain. The Cloak of Levitation allows you to ready Dr Strange so you can regularly defend against the villain's attack and then ready up. Made light work of the Masters of Evil minions so it probably says more about my skills that I nearly snatched defeat from the jaws of victory ! I think FFG have done a great job with Dr Strange and really look forward to a rematch with Klaw.
Morning. Received Dr Strange yesterday and like Black Widow a real joy to play. Been playing against Ultron Heroic with Doomsday Chair for the past 2 weeks (and getting smashed each time) so it was nice to play and win again. Like Black Widow Dr Strange captures the feel of being the Sorcerer Supreme (and unlike Thor) I beat all the villains first time on Expert. Given he is Protection I was impressed and I played his original deck with out modification. The Invocation deck is a nice mechanic but itsn't as easy to play as you would think as it requires both Dr Strange active and having the resources to play them. Iron Fist is very nice. Clea is a strange ally who doesn't do a lot but is comes back to your deck after defeated. Sort of a built in Make the Call. Vodoo is a nice thwarter which Protection really needed. So far I have avoided coming yp againsy Mordo (amazing after playing 6 scenarios so I can't say how annoying he will be. One thing I would now like to see is a Mystic/cosmic/demonic villain to go up against like Dormamu or Mephisto (or even Dracula) to capture some of the comic stories I loved as a kid. Heartily recommend Dr Strange as a great addition to this 'Marvelous' game. Oh there are fewer Leadership add cards (only one) but Iron Man is a great ally which will encourage you to take first aid to keep him in game longer adding Inspired and other ally upgrades to him.

Surprised to hear you didnāt have an issue with Ultron. Strange lacks any real way to deal with Hordes of Minions.
Just played him with leadership - wow, very powerful - giving 3 characters ātoughā is immmensly good in solo play!
I think Dr Strange in some ways is opposite of Thor and the imbalance of solo makes him stronger there, tho the difference isn't quite so polarizing. Giving himself and allies tough is ridiculously strong in solo, tho it is still good in multiplayer.
Oh I had problems with Klaw, Ultron and Green Goblin Mutagen. I don't think any game went under 20 turns for any of these villains and there were times when I was ready to throw in the towel but in nearly every instance it was the Invocations (especially with Ultron) that kept me in the game. Clea was so important on Drone removal and protecting Strange from Ultron's attack. She was a mini Squirrel Girl with the auto "Make the Call" built in. Like Black Widow seemingly weak heroes who through the ability to have two turns with their basic abilities are so powerful. What I could do with Captain Marvel if she could have a second turn! Would finally have a chance at beating Ultron/Doomsday Chair on Heroic 1 (Curse you Team Covenant for making that my Everest).
Daft Blazer I can imagine how good Strange will be with Leadership.
Hmm - heās become one of my favourite heroes, along with Miss Marvel and Captain Marvel.

I was surprised how well both Black Widow and Dr Strange have performed against both Ultron and Green Goblin Mutagen Formula. GG especially I had found impossible to beat on Solo Expert then I just waltz through him with Black Widow and Dr Strange. I've played a lot of games now Solo (and playing a lot of Heroic 3 recently - curse you Team Covenant for setting the bar so high) which has made me a much better player on mere Expert. Also the new cards make Protection much better Solo when the game first came out. Now that doesn't mean I don't still loose on Expert but its mach rarer. That being said I still find Thor Solo a struggle on Expert .

Same here. Sadly it is very random when I will get him. Could be a couple of days or a little over a month. They really have a bad time with shipping for me.
Oh well, won't have time to play him for a bit and I really want to spend more time with Black Widow. I won't mind the wait.
There's been a bit of a lull here, it seems. I'm guessing everybody is waiting for stuff to get caught up since we've talked about pretty much everything so far. In any case, I got the processing email for my Dr. Strange pack, so I'll have it really soon (hopefully). I'm so excited. I haven't played Dr. Strange at all on TTS or with proxied cards for the last month and a half or so just to build the excitement.
It's a bit of an odd situation because Dr Strange has been on TTS for so long as well as having been released in parts of the world, he has been discussed a lot already. Also, because he is so strong, there isn't much to say either.
Once Hulk releases, there is going to be a lot of discussion again...

I've heard that and I've checked TTS and Hulk doesn't appear to be on there. Is he on a different mod or am I just missing something?

You have to get him separately and bring him into the Marvel Champions TTS. I save his assets in a bag and just pulled it up like normal under Champions.
I think we could do with another article going into some more detail about the Red Skull Box - Iāve had Dr Strange for nearly 2 months at this point and I havenāt played for almost a month as Iāve mainly been painting miniatures in my spare time...

We are pretty close to getting the next scenario reveal (assuming they follow the normal reveal timeline). Though I'd absolutely love to see more about the Red Skull box and wouldn't complain at all if they played through a scenario using Hawkeye and Spider-Woman (like what they did with Cap, Ms. Marvel, and Thor that one time).

they were going to do a stream of BW, DS, and Hulk vs Wrecking Crew but that got cancelled. I wouldn't expect another one for some time.
But yeah, I think we will get another article focusing more in depth on the villains and campaign mode in particular as we got extremely little info about it in the first preview.

From what I could tell, a lot of people liked the play through with Green Goblin, and would be really great if they did that again.
The only reason they didn't do a play through with the Wrecking Crew, was because of the Coronavirus. But with everyone not careing about that anymore, they'll probably do another play through.
Which will indeed bring a lot of incite into the new campaign box. Can't wait.
